Just before Christmas, we were lucky enough to welcome the team from MuscleFood to the René House HQ in Nottingham.

As a local Nottinghamshire business, their support is such a big deal to us. Support from organisations rooted in our community plays a huge role in helping us continue our work and reach more people across the city.

The MuscleFood team spent time at our offices helping to wrap Christmas presents for residents and deliver food hampers and vouchers to support people across our houses over the festive period.

Alongside this, they took the time to learn more about the work we do and the importance of ongoing, person-centred support for people experiencing homelessness in Nottingham.

Support comes in many forms - from financial donations and donated items, to time, skills, and helping spread awareness through social videos like theirs. All of it matters. Practical help like this, especially at a busy time of year, helps ensure residents feel thought of, supported, and valued.

Their kind donation of food hampers and vouchers will help our residents who want to prioritise healthier eating habits this year. Access to good-quality food links directly to the life skills we encourage through our support work, including budgeting, meal planning, and cooking - helping people build confidence and independence over time.

We’re incredibly grateful that this support doesn’t end at Christmas. MuscleFood have committed to continuing their support into 2026, helping us fundraise so we can carry on delivering vital support work.
