If you're looking to donate a laptop in Nottingham, or your business is refreshing its IT equipment soon, René House CIC would love to give your old tech a second life.

We're currently fitting out The Hub, a brand new community support space in Nottingham city centre for people rebuilding their lives after homelessness and instability.
To open the doors to digital learning, job support, and online access, we urgently need around 8 working laptops (Windows or Mac), plus a projector and screen.
For many of the people we support, access to a laptop is the first step back into employment, independence, and digital confidence. The tech you donate will be used on-site at The Hub to support residents with:
If your organisation is refreshing its IT equipment, donating your surplus laptops, projector, or screen to us is a simple way to responsibly repurpose old tech, support your CSR goals, and make a genuine difference to people in your local community.
We're happy to arrange collection or drop-off at your convenience, whatever's easiest for you.
We accept fully working laptops suitable for basic online use, on Windows or Mac. If you have an old laptop sat in a drawer, or know a business that might, please get in touch with Shani at shani.jayawardena@renehousecic.com.
Every laptop donated brings us one step closer to opening The Hub this summer — and helps someone in Nottingham take their next step forward.

Do you have skills that could help someone build a more stable future? As we develop The Hub in Nottingham, we’re looking to partner with organisations and individuals who can deliver practical workshops – from life skills to employability training – to support our residents beyond supported accommodation.
