We're super excited to introduce you to RH36 - our newest Nottingham-based supported accommodation property, and the largest in René House's portfolio to date.

RH36 is a seven-bedroom property spread across four floors, located right in the heart of Nottingham city centre.
This property marks a huge milestone for us - not only is it our biggest property to date, but it's also our most central location yet, offering residents beautiful views over the city skyline and the best access to everything Nottingham has to offer.
For the first time in René House's history, we have opened a property in central Nottingham.
While all of our Nottinghamshire properties provide safe, supported accommodation, RH36's unique location will make a real difference to our residents' journey to stability.
Being so centrally located means residents are within walking distance of Nottingham's main employment hubs. Job interviews, shift work, and daily commutes become significantly easier when you're based in the city centre rather than relying on multiple bus journeys.
For people rebuilding their lives after homelessness, removing these practical barriers to employment can be really beneficial.
Central Nottingham also provides easy access to healthcare facilities, mental health support services, benefits offices, and educational institutions. When someone is transitioning out of homelessness, they often need to access multiple services like these regularly. A central location reduces travel time, costs, and stress - allowing residents to focus all of their energy on recovery and rebuilding, instead of worrying about bus times and having the right change!

RH36 features seven individual double bedrooms - which is standard across all René House properties. Providing residents with vital private space, that actually feels like a proper bedroom.
The property also includes a communal kitchen and lounge area designed for connection, shared meals, and practicing social skills in a supportive environment.
We've put careful thought into making RH36 feel like a home from the moment residents walk through the door. Natural light and thoughtful details create a welcoming atmosphere, and the communal area facilitates the kind of natural conversations and connections that help people rebuild their confidence after homelessness.

Every resident moving into RH36 has been carefully matched to this property based on what works for them - their needs, their history, what they're comfortable with, and their physical abilities.
This thoughtful matching process is central to how René House operates. We consider where residents have lived previously, whether they've experienced shared accommodation before, and what environment will best support their journey toward independence.
For some residents, RH36's size and central location will be exactly what they need. For others, one of our smaller, quieter properties might be a better fit.
This is how supported accommodation should work.

Before welcoming our first residents, we hosted an open day for local services, partners, and stakeholders to see what we've been working on over the past few months. The response was exactly what we hoped for - people could really see the care that's gone into making this feel like a proper home, not just accommodation.
Our team did an incredible job showing everyone around and explaining how René House works, from our approach to support to how we create spaces where residents can genuinely rebuild their lives.
RH36 opened with seven residents already lined up to move in - a testament to the ongoing need for quality supported accommodation in Nottingham.
These seven individuals will each receive tailored support from our experienced team, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living.
The demand for supported accommodation continues to grow across Nottinghamshire, and properties like RH36 allow us to expand our capacity at a crucial time.

We're incredibly excited to welcome our new male residents to RH36 and support them as they start fresh chapters in stable, central accommodation.
This property represents another step in René House's mission to provide not just housing, but genuine pathways to independence for adults transitioning out of homelessness.
Seven more people are about to get the chance to rebuild.
Welcome to RH36. 🗝️
