Our newest property will bring supported accommodation to the heart of Nottingham city centre, for seven residents transitioning out of homelessness.

We're excited to announce that RH36 - René House's newest supported accommodation property - is almost ready to open in central Nottingham!
Our team have been working hard putting the finishing touches on this seven-bedroom home, which represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide quality housing and tailored support for adults transitioning out of homelessness across Nottinghamshire.

For the first time in René House's history, we're opening a property right in the heart of Nottingham city centre. While all our properties provide safe, supported accommodation, RH36's central location will offer unique advantages that can make a real difference to residents' recovery journeys.
Being centrally located means residents will be within walking distance of Nottingham's main employment hubs. Job interviews, shift work, and daily commutes become significantly easier when you're based in the city centre rather than requiring multiple bus journeys. For people rebuilding their lives after homelessness, removing these practical barriers to employment can be transformational.
Central Nottingham provides easy access to job centres, healthcare facilities, mental health support services, benefits offices, and educational institutions. When someone is transitioning out of homelessness, they often need to access multiple services regularly. A central location reduces travel time, costs, and stress - allowing residents to focus their energy on recovery and rebuilding.
Living in the city centre facilitates natural integration into the wider community. Residents can access shops, libraries, community spaces, and social activities without feeling isolated. This proximity helps combat the social isolation that often accompanies homelessness, making it easier for people to rebuild social connections.
Central Nottingham's excellent public transport connections mean residents can easily travel to appointments, visit family, and friends, or access opportunities across the city. This connectivity is crucial for maintaining relationships and accessing the support networks that help people sustain their independence long-term.
Our newest property is a seven-bedroom HMO spread across four floors, offering:
The communal areas are particularly important to our approach. We've seen how shared spaces facilitate natural conversations, help people practice social skills, and create opportunities for residents to support one another.
RH36 will open with seven residents already lined up to move in - testament to the ongoing need for quality supported accommodation in Nottingham. We'll be hosting an open day next week before meeting our new residents and welcoming them to their new home.
These seven individuals will each receive tailored support from our experienced team, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living.
The demand for supported accommodation continues to grow across Nottinghamshire. More people are experiencing homelessness while statutory funding struggles to keep pace. Properties like RH36 allow us to expand our capacity at a crucial time.

Our properties are spaces where people can:
RH36 will continue this tradition while offering the additional benefits of central city living.
René House was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home and the support to rebuild their lives. As a Community Interest Company, community is part of our DNA. We're proud to contribute to Nottingham's response to homelessness, working alongside local authorities, support services, and community partners.
RH36 represents another step in this journey - seven more people about to get the chance to rebuild, seven more lives about to be transformed, seven more success stories in the making.
We can't wait to welcome our new residents and support them as they write their next chapters.
